About the Gallery
The Platform Gallery is an online archive of exhibitions inviting Vancouver based graphic designers to celebrate and critique the city they live in. Exhibitions are held periodically at Waterfront Station's Canada Line platform and are produced in collaboration with the Canada Line Public Art Program. The Platform Gallery is an initiative of Working Format, Lizzy Karp, Anthony Casey, and Luis Sanchez.
Our Vision
The Platform Gallery exists to provide graphic designers an opportunity to create work outside of their commercial practice, acknowledging their role in the creation
of civic culture. Periodic exhibitions are organized around Vancouver focused themes intended to celebrate and critique the unique qualities of our city.
Canada Line Public Art Program
Exhibitions curated by the Platform Gallery are produced in collaboration with InTransit BC's Canada Line Public Art Program. The program provides space for exhibitions at Waterfront Station and remains an active partner in ongoing programming.
